Strategy Background
This page outlines our standardized approach for adding testimonial quotes and/or videos to Landing Pages (LPs) and Microsite Program Overview Pages on the WP tUX platform.
This request will involve various stakeholders and should be submitted as a WF request for MPMs to manage.

Blocks for Use

| Wide Quote | This block will be used when displaying a quote. It may be accompanied by an image, if available. |
| Two Columns 65/35 (Video Default) | This block will be used when displaying a testimonial video. It will be accompanied by a header with a blurb and/or optional quote. Based on site’s existing blocks, UX & CAT will determine if this block or the media block should be used. |
| Two Columns Media | This block will be used when displaying a testimonial video. It will be accompanied by a header with a blurb and/or optional quote. Content provided will match the Two Columns 65/35 visuals. Based on site’s existing blocks, UX & CAT will determine if this block or the other block should be used. |
| Slider | This block will be used when displaying multiple quotes or video testimonials. Each quote will be displayed in its own “Wide Quote” block. Each quote within the slider may or may not be accompanied by an image. Due to the slider block functionality, Video testimonials (any “Two Column” block) will need to be added as rows and columns. |
| Row and Columns | These blocks will be used when displaying multiple testimonial videos within the slider. Each slide will be setup as: row > 2 column blocks. The first column will use class u-flex-2 and display the video block. The second column will display the header and paragraph blocks. |

For this block’s display: Using rows to allow for slider display on this strategy page; however, it would use the Two Column 65/35 block unless we’re displaying multiple video testimonials. Keep copy to the right, video on the left, and a “White” background color. Quote will be a bolded large copy paragraph, while citation will be italicized regular copy paragraph.

Testimonial Video Header (H2)
A short blurb should be provided to introduce the video. The content should not exceed 150 ch.

Strategy Considerations
- Release forms must be completed before we can add testimonials to our site(s)–they will be live during upload
- Short blurb copy should not exceed 150 characters
- Videos should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo before we can place them in WP tUX
- Transcript will need to be request (which incurs a fees) if it is not provided
- Testimonial images should ideally be 512 x 512px
- Testimonial video images should be 1920px x 1280px (only applies to “Two Columns Media” block)
- Testimonial video blurb may be able to incorporate information approved content – Example from the Testimonial Content Hub
- At this time, we don’t have a strategy around testimonial articles or programmatic/brand testimonial pages. Connect with SEO, UX, and CAT if this is something you’re interested in exploring
