Reusable Content Block (RB) Guidelines

The following blocks represent reusable content blocks (RBs) across the different types of tUX landing page (LP) templates.

Content Team Direction

Please view the tabs to read the content block descriptions for how to write the reusable content for these sections. These blocks only need to be written once. CAT will place content during upload.

Breaking the Blocks

If a RB needs to be broken for any reason, please reach out to UX Content Strategy for direction, and make a note for both the assigned editor and CAT within the content creation document being used for review and upload. Connect with CAT to verify if content or section is a RB as needed.

Content Block Placement

The placement of where these RBs will appear within a template is denoted by “[RB]” in the section header of the templates.

NOTE: Content Team, be sure to follow brand guidelines and use appropriate spelling, language, and date format needed for UK partners.

NOTE: All hyperlinks, email addresses, and/or phone numbers on LPs (aside from the TY page), must be approved by the Growth Marketing team before implementing.

NOTE: Approved hyperlinks, email addresses, and/or phone numbers will be hidden from AF LPs unless the link is required for compliance. Otherwise, AF LPs will be the same aside from the additional “Highest Level of Education” RFI Field.

NOTE: Landing Page Header will display differently than the tUX Demo Site Header. Please refer to tUX Site Strategy for more details.

About Us

All LPs (except Brand): About Us

[RB] About the University Header (H2, 75ch)

This is a reusable content block that gives a brief overview of the university, and the brand-level value props of the institution. Highlights to hit include the university values, mission, accolades, and any additional brand messaging that should be included. This block will be featured on all program, vertical and suite landing pages. This block will NOT be used on the brand LP.

The content in this block should be a minimum of 375 ch. and a maximum of 500 ch.

Online Learning Experience (OLE)

All LPs (except Brand): OLE

[RB] Online Learning Experience Header (H2, 75ch)

This is a reusable content block that should briefly highlight the benefits and values of learning online, including statistics, school-specific info (special software, portal, etc.), and general info (student support, career services, etc.). This block will be featured on all landing pages.

The content in this block should be a minimum of 375 ch. and a maximum of 500 ch.

General Faculty

Micro and LPs: Multi-page: General Faculty

[RB] General Faculty Header (H2)

Brief introductory paragraph of 2-3 sentences. Use bullets when able to increase quick read and scannability.

  • Active practitioners connected to the industry and where it’s going
  • All faculty doctorally prepared
  • Their real-world experience brought into the classroom
  • Low student ratios, more individualized instruction
  • Mentorship and support throughout the program
  • No limit to items listed, but should be generic to apply to all programs
